Trainer Steven Woodsford, at Rangiora, continued fine form with the progeny of Zacinto (Dansili) when three-year-old filly Justabelle (ex. Just Curious, by O’Reilly) won last Friday at Timaru. A week earlier for Woodsford, Louie Louie (5 g Zacinto – Cremisi, by Royal Academy) made it two in a row at Ashburton, before Justabelle broke through over 1200 metres. And a big effort it was. Getting back to last after dwelling at the start, Justabelle stood the leader 12 lengths at the 600m, circled widest, and powered home to win by two lengths in the hands of Tanya Jonker.
